And as eager as I am to uncover the truth behind this phenomenon, I refuse to be responsible for another death. The
second video is a homemade trailer for the 2002 movie The
Ring and the 2005 sequel The
Ring Two. The footage shown on this page is from these movies, but is very similar
to the TAPE that I watched. (In fact, I'm told that the films
have portions of the
real TAPE spliced in.) It's obviously not cursed or
80 million
movie-goers would have dropped dead!
The producers of the movie clearly watched the actual tape, and they created a very good reproduction of it. The video above at least gives casual viewers an idea of what all the fuss is all about.
